Directions

Sesame Balls

6 Steps

  • Step 1

Mix all ingredients and knead by hand until smooth.

  • Step 2

Divide the dough into balls (20 grams each) and cover with a towel to prevent from drying out.

  • Step 3

Divide the filling into 15 grams per piece.

  • Step 4

Wrap the filling in the shell and make the filling evenly round and tight so that there is not much air between the shell and the filling, in case the cake is fried, it will explode.

  • Step 5

Roll the cake over the white sesame seeds and make sure the sesame sticks to the shell.

  • Step 6

Deep fry the cake in oil at 350°F to help the cake expand and separate the crust and the inside. It is advisable to let the oil have stabilized before putting the cake in and do not fry the cake for too long, making the crust hard, and the burnt sesame will not taste good. Remove once cooked and enjoy!
