Boracay World and local restaurants team up for the Parkdale Community Food Bank

In keeping with the Filipino Balikbayan box tradition, the team behind Boracay World is giving back this season in collaboration with Sugo and other popular restaurants. Boracay World has created their take on a Balikbayan box, with Sugo Boxing Club T-shirts. Every purchase of a Sugo Boxing Club T-shirt helps raise money for the Parkdale Community Food Bank, as well as the Change For A Hundred initiative.

In collaboration with local eateries, including Ruru Baked, Famiglia Baldassarre, Lamesa, Cold Tea Bar and more, Boracay World hopes to fund 100 meals for the Parkdale Food Bank next month. Each restaurant is donating food and time to help create the meals. Proceeds from the sale of Boracay World’s Sugo Boxing Club T-shirts will also fund the initiative.

The remaining proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts are earmarked to purchase $100 grocery gift cards through Change For A Hundred for families in need.

T-shirts are available in five sizes, from small to XXL, for $40 each. Pre-orders for the T-shirts launched on December 28 on their website, and will be available until the shirts sell out.
