Where to Take Your Client for Lunch in the Financial District

Can’t figure out where to take your clients for a lunch that isn’t the Salad Days right under the escalator? This guide is for you! Time to splash out your company’s client entertainment budget on some gastronomically excellent lunches. Even if you don’t get the deal, you’ll have gotten the meal.

The following places are formal(ish), so you won’t feel out of place if you wear a suit to work, and they’re pretty easy to get a reservation for and walk-in if something is arranged last minute. All of these are within walking distance of the Financial District core.

66 Wellington St W 54th floor

Canoe

Canoe

Sitting on the 54th floor, the only place to rival Canoe’s views is the CN Tower itself. Their culinary offering is inventive, Canadian, and comes with a hefty price tag (good thing you’re not paying!).

Chotto Matte

Chotto Matte

The trendy Peruvian Japanese is both beautiful and expensive, so if you really want to splash out, it’s a great option to really impress your client.

Kelly's Landing

Kelly's Landing

For something a little more casual, Kelly’s Landing serves Canadian grill-fare and is swimming with sports screens.

Bier Markt

Bier Markt

Defined as an upmarket brasserie, the Belgian Bier Markt has over 150 brands of beer and some great burgers, perfect for a more casual client.

Chefs Hall

Chefs Hall

The only food-court option on the list, Chefs Hall (previously, Chef’s Assembly Hall) is a high-end food-court that offers multiple cuisine options like Colibri, Osteria Scossa, Pokito, etc. and has a full service bar and coffee shop.
