10 Healthy Restaurants That Won't Break Your New Year's Resolutions

10 Healthy Restaurants That Won't Break Your New Year's Resolutions

There are many reasons to hibernate come January but eating healthy is 100% not one of them. Toronto is bursting with amazing healthy eateries so delicious you won’t believe they’re compliant with your new year's goals.

No sad salads found here! These restaurants know how to pack a nutrient-dense punch using quality ingredients while making things taste insanely good. Healthy eating doesn’t need to mean bland uninspired dishes. These places do not skimp on flavour.

Some of the spots are vegan, some gluten-free, others are organic and some use only local ingredients -- but regardless of the labels we put on them, we know you’ll leave any one of these places feeling energized and awesome.

Here are 10 of our favourite healthy eateries in the city.

Our favourite place to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown and grab a smoothie. Calii love really knows how to bring the sunshine into dreary Toronto winters. Grab a superfood packed smoothie bowl or build your own nutrient-dense salad.

Our favourite go-to spot in the Junction for organic food, sustainable packaging and decor made entirely of reclaimed items. All of their eggs, meat, cheese and produce are certified organic and they make sure to support local farmers whenever possible. We love anything on their brunch menu but specifically their avocado tartine: two eggs on black sourdough with creamy avocado, vegan aioli, crispy pickled onions and sprouts.
